I had lots of ideas for today.

And then they vanished into the mist with this video.

I love the Green brothers. They can usually keep me close to death with laughter, and Hank's newest song is no exception. It's even better than "Ranavalona" (which I enjoy primarily because of her name).

Simplicity, Class, & (potentially) Timelessness

Today is Wednesday.

There are two days left until the first installment of the last HP movie comes out.

I don't think I need to talk too much about the phenomenon, except to say that I'm a fan. I started reading the books before the third one came out, so they've been a part of my life for a while. Objectively, I think Rowling peaked with Goblet (although Azkaban was/is my favorite), but it seems like there's a limit to the downsides you can talk about.

I must say, I'm not overly fond of the American covers, and even less of a fan of the British children's covers.

The British adult covers, though, I think are beautiful. I have a copy of Half-Blood from England, but I'd love to have a complete set.

Iconic

For Empire's 20th birthday, they asked back some of the stars that had graced the screen to reshoot, as it were, their iconic rolls.

What I love so much about all of the photos is that even though the stars look extremely classy (as in: Russell Crowe isn't covered in dirt, blood, and sweat), you still instantly know what movie they're recreating.

And just for the record: my favorite photo is the third down of Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint throwing paper airplanes at each other. My favorite movie out of those recreated is Atonement (fourth & fifth images of Keira Knightly & James Mcavoy).
